Festival Senyum Nasional 2009

Tanpa dapat dimungkiri, waktu telah lewat dengan lenggak-lenggok lebainya. Dan tanpa menunggu izin lebih lanjut dari RT setempat, hari-hari bergulir dengan najiz tralala … membuat kita telah memasuki bulan ketiga di tahun 2009.

Tahun ini juga menghadapkan kita semua pada dua seri pesta demokrasi, dengan backsound krisis global yang mulai melanda negara kita tercinta. Semua ini bikin hidup kita kian syerem. Bagai menyantap stres saban pagi. Bagai sekam di dalam api. Bagai menapaki hidup di gurun tandus.

Fiyuh…. Ini review pertamaku tentang buku. Ngerti sendiri kan bagaimana diriku yg tidak begitu bersahabat dgn yang namanya bacaan… Tiap lima menit tidur 10 menit. Sampe buku yang ku tammatkan membacanya juga udah lecek2 ditidurin… Hihihi.. Maka, akan sangat susah bagiku mempertanggungjawabkan apa yg baru saja aku baca… Tapi tidak dgn buku yang satu ini. Buku Gokil terbitan Gradien Mediatama ini buatku ga ada adegan nganttuknya… Ga percaya… Mari kita ulas…

Karya yang satu ini bukanlah sebuah novel, apalagi kisah cinta picisan. Sebuah karya dari Chaos@work nama samar dari penulis yang isinya merupakan kumpulan posting blog dia tentang unek – unek selama di kantor, terutama segala urusan dengan si Boss yang edan abis!

Last night, or precisely this morning (2am), I finished reading the 2nd book within this week. The first book which I have read was “The Sky Is Crazy” by Yvonne Lee. This is a wonderful book where I get to know more about the life of a trolley dolly, high up in 35000 feet from the sea level. I used about 6 hours to complete reading the whole book! A bit slow though, hehe…

Look! the captain!

I find this book laying around on my bed since last Sunday after buying it from MPH. How I wish I have the time to start reading through its content. This is a story about the life of a former air stewardess with an international carrier who shares some of her favourite anedotes about life 35000 feet up in the air. It’s a light reading material and I found out about it from some book review website. So, I showed the book to a friend and she sked me what makes me wanted to buy this book. Well, I have no specific reasons besides the following items. I just follow my feelings and intuition….Whoa ha ha ha!

I’m trying to pick up my reading habits again, but kinda hard coz I’ll always feel sleepy whenever I read. It’s not like during school days anymore. The books that’s stacking on my desk are “Memoir of A Geisha” (I told Superhero that I might as well just watch the movie as it’s coming out soon!) and ” The Sky is Crazy” by Yvonne Lee. Occasionally, I read magazines to get ideas on cosmetics (again?!) & fashion.

bought a new book at kino

bought a new book at kino.. ‘The Sky is crazy‘… seeing its title of course, something related to the sky; trolley dolly, in layman terms, cabin crew.. written by an ex stewardess, this book tells all about the events that happened onboard while the writer, Yvonne Lee, was on duty.. It gave me the insights of being an air stewardess. hee hee… dunno if i can make it… but anyway… read is fun…..
